Australian Painted-Snipe. One of Australia's rarest and least known birds. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to photograph them on the western side of Hexham Swamp during 2006.

  Tasmanian Masked Owl Fundraiser- Australian Geographic Society
  The Australian Geographic Society has kindly offered to host a 3 month fundraising program within their stores to help raise money to support my research into this threatened species. My project, which is being carried out through the School of Zoology, University of Tasmania, is partly funded by DPIW and the CRC for Forestry but needs more support if it is to be successful in solving some of the riddles that surround this most mysterious bird.
