Presenting multimedia in a way that is compatible with the different browsers that people can use is problematic. I've attempted to make the audio files as browser-friendly as possible. However, it is possible that there can be problems. So, try the suggestions below if you are having problems:

All of the audio files are compressed MP3 files. This enables me to provide the best quality at the smallest file size. Some of the audio files have been embedded like the splendid Mallee Whipbird call below. If you are using the browser Internet Explorer it should be able to be played by simply clicking on the play button of the object.

Mallee Whipbird (Coonalpyn, SA):

If however, you are using another browser such as Netscape Navigator, Mozilla or Firefox then this may give you no joy. However, all these files are available as links to MP3 files, like this: Mallee Whipbird (Coonalpyn, SA)

To listen to these files you may need to modify the audio player preferences, by going to Edit- Preferences- Helper Applications. Check that MP3 files can be opened by an application like Windows Media Player. When this is done correctly the files should open up in the MP3 player of your choice. If you don't have software capable of playing MP3's try Winamp which is a free download from www.winamp.com

Still having problems? Please send me an email (address at the top of the page) and I'll see if I can help.
